Leading this charge is the Legacy, Subaru's midsize sedan. With a rally racing-derived AWD system and one of the industry's few horizontally opposed "boxer" motors (similar to the configuration used in the Porsche 911), the Legacy has been a key contributor to Subaru's recent sales success.
