The 1996 Nissan Quest is available in two models: XE and GXE. Standard safety features include dual airbags and child safety locks. A 4-wheel anti-lock brake system (ABS) comes standard with the GXE and is optional on the XE. Integrated child safety seats are also optional. Other standard equipment includes a 3.0-liter V6 engine, a 4-speed automatic transmission,
air conditioning, a tilt steering wheel and tinted glass. A keyless entry system, a power sunroof, leather seats and an in-dash 6-disc CD changer are optional. A Handling Package including upgraded tires and a performance-tuned suspension is also optional on the GXE.
